Family Reintegration and Supervision

Due to issues of divorce, domestic violence, child protective service directive, or court order, individuals may require a trained specialist to supervise contact with minor-aged children.

“Meet and Greet visits” are fully supervised by a member of our treatment team with the primary focus on meeting the needs of the children. Providing comfort and assurance that the absent parent is still available to them and that the children are not responsible in any way for the parent’s leaving is significant. It is our goal in this preliminary phase to provide children with stability and coping mechanisms to help them to function adequately under the duress of loss of the family unit, and process their emotions regarding the changes that are occurring or have already occurred within their family.
